Buy or Sell: Luol Deng is the most overlooked player in EBL?

I'm selling that.
Deng is good, and I think people know he's good.
What about Joe Johnson? Or David West? I know Deron Williams is pretty heralded, but he's playing in CP3's shadow and putting up very nice numbers.
Richard Jefferson might be another name to toss out there...

Buy or Sell: Someone other than Kobe or Chris Paul wins MVP. I'm going to have to sell that, but I would love to see Dwight do it. Buy or Sell: The Grizzlies are for real.

Buy for Blazers and Sell for Seattle, there are teams that are still better than Seattle out West.
Buy or Sell: The Lakers finally win a title this year.

Buy: With Bynum back they'll definitely win it
B/S: Spain would have beat USA if Calderon was playing

Sell. Spain played a great game as is, Calderon couldn't have done much better than what they got from Fernandez/Navarro.
B/S: This is the last season the Spurs make playoffs before a rebuild?

Sell. The Spurs NEVER rebuild.
Buy or Sell: Kevin Durant is a Bust.

Sell. It's still too early to tell. Give him another year or two before he can be properly evaluated.

Sell. Kevin Durant is still young who's carrying a crappy team...give him 2 more years
Buy or Sell: Is there someone else who can steal rookie of the year award away from Greg Oden,Derrick Rose or Michael Beasley?

Sell. Kevin Durant is still young who's carrying a crappy team...give him 2 more years Buy or Sell: Is there someone else who can steal rookie of the year award away from Greg Oden,Derrick Rose or Michael Beasley? Buy, the only RoY out of the three was Rose. B/S: The Jazz post a 50+ win record with Mikan.

Sell: Mikan never reached his full potential in EBL.
B/S: Pistons miss the playoffs.

Buy or Sell: The previous knicks gm was awful? Buy. He had absolutely no idea what he was doing. Buy or Sell: The (current) top 4 seeds in the West will sweep the lower seeds this year. Also: Thanks for bringing this idea back, Twolves. It's an awesome thread.

Sell. Some team is bound to win a game.
Buy or Sell: The Pacers beat the Celtics again this year if matched up in the playoffs

|
|

I'll buy because the Celtics have zero depth. I could see the three stars just busting through and pulling it out though.
B/S: Cavs pick drops to 3rd or 4th in the lotto this year.

I'll sell on Cavs dropping to 3rd or 4th pick. This year was really horrible, probably the worst record ever, and if that has anything to do with the picks, then we're bound to be number one.
Buy or Sell: Cavaliers will make playoffs this year for first time.

Sell. It'll take you a while unless you have some Charlotte-esque FA, but this year the free agents aren't that good.
B/S: Moses Malone goes #1 in the draft to whoever lands it.

|
|
Post by Timberwolves on Sept 19, 2009 12:24:11 GMT -5
Buy, I could actually see that happening, but it would be terrible.
B/S: Artis Gilmore falls out of the top 5.
|
|
|
Post by Indiana on Sept 19, 2009 12:43:02 GMT -5
Buy. He shouldn't, but teams may be scared away by him being 26, and might go for one of the younger swingmen over him.
B/S: The Bobcats repeat next year.
|
|
|
Post by Cavaliers on Sept 19, 2009 15:56:26 GMT -5
Buy. I don't expect much to change between this year and next, despite injuries. I don't think he'll trade anything away from his championship team.
B/S: Neither Moses Malone, nor Robert Parish, nor Artis Gilmore will receive RoY this year.

|
|
Post by Indiana on Sept 19, 2009 16:41:35 GMT -5
Sell. It's likely one of those three wins it, but Marques Johnson, Bernard King, or Adrian Dantley wouldn't surprise me at all.
B/S: The Lakers get out of the first round next season.

|
Post by Timberwolves on Sept 19, 2009 16:49:05 GMT -5
Sell, they got hot this postseason, but it's not going to happen next year.
B/S: Pistons make the Conference Finals.
|
|
|
Post by Cavaliers on Sept 19, 2009 21:27:19 GMT -5
Buy: I've got a lot of faith in the Pistons next season. The draft isn't very deep, but with a little more work, they can pull out of this past barely-winning season, and make it that far.
B/S: Robert Parish will average more points per game than Moses Malone this season.
