Celtics send: Shane Battier
Blazers send: Marquis Daniels Blazers 2009 First Blazers 2010 First
I'm interested to know what other teams think about it. At first glance, they are giving two firsts but they are/should be late firsts and it is a longshot anyone drafted at those spots will ever be as good as Battier. Marquis Daniels can play but he doesn't offer Celtics any salary flexibility or bench help since Celtics have enough wings.

Eh, you pick up 2 decent 1st's. Anything can happen, and thats why I like this deal for you. Dealing 1st's is never a good idea, especially when your 2 best players expire and might not resign with you.

Battier doesn't score, but he's still one of the best defenders in the league. Two first rounders is worth the trade-down from Battier to Marquis. Even, if not a slight edge to Boston.
